CEO and Board DirectorFireEye
Kevin has been FireEye CEO since June 2016 and a member of the FireEye Board of Directors since February 2016. He previously served as FireEye President, from February 2015 until his appointment as CEO. Kevin joined the company as Senior Vice President and Chief operating Officer in December 2013, when FireEye acquired Mandiant, the company he founded in 2004.
As CEO of Mandiant, Kevin grew the company to nearly 500 employees and more than $100 million in revenue. Widely recognized as the leading provider of security incident management products and services prior to the acquisition, Mandiant remains the core of the highly successful FireEye consulting business.
Kevin has spent more than 20 years in information security and has been on the front lines helping organizations respond to computer security breaches. Before Mandiant, he was the Director of Computer Forensics at Foundstone (acquired by McAfee Corporation) from 2000 to 2003, and he was the Director of Information Security for Sytex (later acquired by Lockheed Martin) from 1998 to 2000. Kevin was also a United States Air Force Officer, serving as a computer security officer in the 7th Communications Group at the Pentagon, and a special agent in the Air Force Office of Special Investigations (AFOSI). He holds a B.S. in computer science from Lafayette College and a M.S. in forensic science from The George Washington University.
Chargé d’affaires, a.i. U.S. Embassy in Singapore
Stephanie Syptak-Ramnath, the Chargé d’affaires, a.i., at the U.S. Embassy in Singapore, oversees 19 U.S. government agencies in the advancement of our wide-ranging bilateral security, economic, and people-to-people cooperation. Her most recent assignment was as Minister Counselor for Public Diplomacy at the U.S. Embassy in Mexico City, where she managed Public Diplomacy staff across 9 Consulates in implementing U.S. government public outreach efforts that covered the work of 29 USG agencies in Mexico.
Stephanie previously served as Deputy Chief of Mission in Bamako, Mali where she led a team of 300 interagency colleagues in shaping and implementing the U.S. government response to the political, security, and humanitarian crises in the country. A specialist in the field of Public Diplomacy, Stephanie’s other assignments include Senior Deputy Director in the Office of Public Diplomacy for the Bureau of European and Eurasian Affairs; Career Development Officer for mid-level Public Diplomacy officers, Public Affairs Officer in Mali; Assistant Public Affairs Officer in Tunisia; Staff Assistant and Political Officer at the U.S. Mission to the United Nations; and Vice-Consul in Monterrey, Mexico.
Stephanie was a member of the International Women’s Forum Leadership Foundation 2011-2012 Fellows Class, a group of 35 rising women leaders from 14 different nations. As part of the program, she completed executive programs at both Harvard Business School and INSEAD’s Singapore campus.
Prior to joining the Foreign Service, Stephanie was an officer in the U.S. Navy. A graduate of Georgetown University’s School of Foreign Service, Stephanie is married and has two daughters. She speaks French and Spanish.
In November 2015, Stephanie was awarded the Department of State’s Edward R. Murrow Award for Excellence in Public Diplomacy.
Australian Ambassador for Cyber Affairs
Dr. Tobias Feakin is Australia’s inaugural Ambassador for Cyber Affairs. He leads Australia’s whole‑of‑government international engagement to advance and protect Australia’s national security, foreign policy, economic and trade, and development interests in the internet and in cyberspace.
Ambassador Feakin was a member of the Independent Panel of Experts that supported the Australian Cyber Security Review to produce Australia’s 2016 Cyber Security Strategy. He was the Director of National Security Programs at the Australian Strategic Policy Institute from 2012 to 2016 and established the Institute’s International Cyber Policy Centre.
He has also held a number of research and advisory positions, including with the Royal United Services Institute for Defence and Security Studies, the Oxford University Global Cyber Security Capacity Centre, the Global Commission on Internet Governance and the Global Commission on the Stability of Cyberspace.
Ambassador Feakin holds an Honours Degree in Security Studies and a Doctorate of Philosophy in International Politics and Security Studies, both from the University of Bradford.

Mithran is the Chief Technology Officer at Transurban, based in Melbourne, Australia. Mithran has been with Transurban for 3 years and is part of the Technology Senior Leadership team that leads transformational change to deliver industry leading technology solutions and capabilities aligned to the strategic business objectives of the organisation. In his role, Mithran is responsible for the definition and execution of strategy and effective and efficient design, delivery and management of mission critical technology platforms. Mithran leads a team across Architecture, Data & Analytics, Infrastructure, Security, Networks, Cloud & Digital and Workspace Technologies.
Prior to Transurban, Mithran was the IT Director at SEEK for 2 years, where he was responsible for leading the Operations and Enterprise Applications teams, after having held other key leadership roles across Infrastructure and Operations during his 10 year tenure.
Senior Superintendent Cyber Security & Technology Crime Bureau Hong Kong Police Force
Dr. LAW has been working in the Hong Kong Police Force since 1998 and has been involved in cybersecurity and technology crime related policing since 2001. He is now the Senior Superintendent of the Cyber Security and Technology Crime Bureau. Dr. LAW has delivered presentations at many international cybercrime related conferences. In 2009, he was awarded the “Information Security Leadership Award” by (ISC)2 in recognition of his outstanding leadership and achievements in workforce improvement of information security professionals in the Asia-Pacific region. He is a CISSP and holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science. His research interests include live systems forensics, digital forensics, and digital timestamp analysis.
Executive Vice President & Chief Technology OfficerFireEye
As Executive Vice President and Chief Technology Officer, Grady oversees the global CTO team that supports R&D and product engineering and works with customers worldwide to address today’s evolving threat landscape.
Grady has over 15 years of experience in information security both as a CISO and consultant to many Fortune 500 companies. He joined FireEye through its acquisition of Mandiant in 2014. At Mandiant, Grady led the company’s strategic consulting and customer success divisions. Prior to Mandiant, Grady was a partner at Ernst & Young, responsible the firm’s information security program management practice. In this role, he worked with CISOs, CIOs, and directors to help improve their information security programs, with a focus on strategic information security planning, organization design, incident response, and targeted threats. His focus included board-level oversight of cyber security, and he has advised dozens of audit and risk committees on successful approaches to cyber risk governance.
Before E&Y, Grady was the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) at General Electric, overseeing a large global information security organization. GE’s information security function grew substantially under his leadership, including the development of the company’s first incident response team, a software security center of excellence, and global security operations. His previous roles at GE include divisional CTO and a variety of positions in application security, web development, and infrastructure management.
Grady’s insights frequently appear in print, and he has been a guest on numerous television programs, including CNN Starting Point, Andrea Mitchell Reports, Cavuto, ABC World News, Australia’s Lateline, and France’s The Interview.
Grady holds an MBA from Columbia University and a bachelor of science in computer systems from Grove City College in Pennsylvania.
Vice President & Chief Security OfficerFireEye
As the Chief Security Officer, Steven Booth is in charge of leading all aspects of IT security at FireEye. This includes the ongoing development and execution of enterprise-wide security architecture and monitoring programs, as well as technology risk and compliance. Steven directs the implementation of security controls, standards, policies and procedures to ensure continuous monitoring and protection of information systems and physical property while ensuring that compliance is maintained against both corporate security policies and industry standards.
Prior to joining FireEye, Steven was the AVP of Information Security and CISO at Manulife/John Hancock in Boston, Massachusetts, where he had global responsibility for all IT security in the US, Canada, and 11 countries in Asia. He previously held the role of Cybersecurity Architect at Microsoft, and ran security operations for VeriSign’s MSSP. Steven has a B.S. in Business Management from CSUH, and a Master’s degree in Digital Security
from Golden Gate University.
Vice President & Chief Technology Officer, APACFireEye
Steve Ledzian’s career in Information Technology and Cyber Security spans more than 20 years, 10 years of which have been spent living in Asia Pacific. As FireEye’s Chief Technology Officer for APAC, he advises public and private sector organizations on how they can build a workable framework for a modern and mature security posture.
Steve is a prolific public speaker and has delivered keynotes at a great variety of events covering a myriad of security topics. He specializes in taking the highly technical subject matter of cyber security and turning it into plain language, which can be easily understood by non-technical executives.
Prior to joining FireEye, Steve managed the Security Specialist Sales Engineering team for Cisco.
Vice President, Product Marketing FireEye
Phil Montgomery joined FireEye as Vice President of Product Marketing in July 2017, bringing more than 25 years of technology marketing experience across security, enterprise software, services, hardware, Internet of Things and other segments. He has launched over 20 products for both startups and large companies. Prior to joining FireEye, Phil served as chief marketing officer for Pulse Secure. He was previously chief marketing officer and chief product officer at Identiv, Inc.
Phil also held senior product marketing positions at VMware, Blue Coat, and Citrix Systems. A native of Australia, he is a graduate of the University of Southern Queensland with a bachelor of business degree in operations management and end-user computing.
Senior Director, Consulting ANZ FireEye Mandiant
Scott Deacon has over 20 years of experience in the information technology industry, much of that specialised in Cybersecurity. In his current role as the Senior Director for Mandiant Consulting at FireEye, he leads a team of Cybersecurity professionals across Australia and New Zealand that enable organisations to better protect and respond to Cybersecurity threats.
Scott has also worked for some of the world’s largest technology companies such as Microsoft, GE and BlackBerry, holding Cybersecurity positions in the United States and Australia.
Scott holds both tertiary and security industry qualifications, including a master’s degree in Management Information Systems (MIS), electronics trade qualifications and has been a Certified Internet Systems Professional (CISSP) since 2003. He is also is a graduate of the Australian Federal Police Management of Serious Crime (MOSC) program focused on cybercrime.
Director, Strategic Intelligence Operations Intelligence Operations Strategy Department, General Manager
Ryan Whelan has over 10 years of experience in cyber and risk intelligence from across the military, government, and commercial sectors. Ryan began in cyber threat intelligence working cyber counterintelligence cases for the United States’ Army, including helping to construct counter-insider threat programs following the Bradley Manning case.
Ryan has deep experience in the intelligence practice, especially through working full spectrum intelligence collection and analysis on military deployments to Afghanistan, Germany, and Chad. He briefed and supported military commanders and government leaders on issues ranging from counterterrorism to information operations and cyber risk.
After the Army, Ryan served as a senior cyber counterintelligence analyst and planner in the US Defense Security Service. There he identified and evaluated cyber threats to cleared US industry and briefed executive leaders on methods to mitigate risk and defense against advanced persistent threat actors.
Ryan previously worked in management and strategy consulting where he helped both government and commercial leaders develop enterprise strategies to meet future threats and manage risk. He has coached senior executives across government and industry to build more cyber resilient organizations, evolve organizational culture, leverage the benefits of new technologies, and execute strategic plans.
Ryan joined FireEye in August 2018 to focus on cyber intelligence program growth, specifically enhancing support to government clients globally – including the Forward Deployed Analyst program – and helping to design strategic growth initiatives around FireEye Threat Intelligence.

Vivek Chudgar is a Senior Director at FireEye for Mandiant Consulting in Asia Pacific, responsible for managing client relationships and sales and delivery of Mandiant services in the APAC region. Vivek focuses on the Incident Response and Strategic Assessment services.
Vivek has over 18 years of experience as a trusted advisor to CISOs of blue-chip enterprises in APAC and the US. At Mandiant, Vivek runs a crack team of IR consultants responding to complex security incidents for large enterprises involving tens of thousands of computers. This Enterprise Incident Response experience provides Vivek valuable insight into today’s advanced threat actors and a deep understanding of how they operate. Vivek uses this insight to help CISOs optimize their SOC investments and transform them into Advanced Cyber Defense Centers capable of detecting and responding to today’s advanced, persistent threats.
Prior to joining FireEye, Vivek was the Global Head of the Information Security Compliance Practice at TCS, one of the top ten IT consulting and services firms in the world. While at TCS, Vivek advised the C-level leadership of several multinational enterprises on information security and risk management strategies and led a global team of consultants delivering professional services related to various Information Risk Management functions.

Anoop Paul has over 15 years’ experience in the IT industry, focusing primarily on networking and security. He is currently the Regional Sales Engineer for ASEAN at Gigamon.
Anoop has grown his career starting from network, system and security support, to implementing projects, to consulting and lately into solution design before joining Gigamon. Prior to joining Gigamon, Anoop has worked for Hewlett-Packard, Dimension Data, BT, and JP Morgan.
Anoop holds two Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert (CCIE) certifications along with VMware Certified Professional (VCP) and ITIL certifications. Anoop graduated from Coventry University with a Bachelor of Engineering and is currently doing his Global MBA from The University of Manchester.

Christopher Lek has more than 17 years of IT experience covering telecommunication industry, banking sector as well as global conglomerate. He has managed different roles from Governance, Risk management, Security architecture to Cyber defence. He is currently Director of Cyber Security for Centre of IT Services in Nanyang Technological University.
Christopher graduated from Nanyang Technological University and is a certified in CISSP, PMP and ITIL. He is also SANs Certified in Digital forensic, Malware Analysis, Incident response and Industrial Control system security. He is also an Adjunct Lecturer at local tertiary institution, teaching Specialist Diploma in Cyber Security Management.
Being active in the IT Security community, Christopher is involved in The Honeynet Project (Singapore Chapter). He also spoke in tertiary institutions and public conferences.

Gilbert Leong is a senior partner in Dentons Rodyk’s Intellectual Property & Technology practice group. Gilbert is a pioneer in the technology area for IT law, data protection and computer misuse. He serves as trusted counsel to regulators in Singapore, large financial institutions, outsource service providers and large buyers of IT systems and IT services.
He has also been counsel to parties involved in the telecommunication industry. In particular, he has advised on disputes arising as between telecommunication licensees, application for licences, market access and infrastructural issues. Choon Ping has worked as a senior consultant in Dimension Data covering cybersecurity and networking technologies for the past 10+ years.
